Summary Description

We are seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, driving revenue growth, analysing market trends to create strategies, identifying new sales leads, and working towards expanding the company's customer base - reporting to the Management Team.

BDE's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • • Number of new qualified leads per month
  • • Revenue generated from new accounts
  • • Client meeting targets (weekly/monthly)
  • • Conversion rate from lead to opportunity
  • • Market penetration in new regions or industries

 

BDE will be on a commission plan tied into two elements:

  1. 1. Base Monthly Salary: To be finalized pre/post interview
  2. 2. Sales Commission Structure: Percentage v Commissions;
    a. Percentage of Sales: 5% of Secured Business Contract or Invoice Value
    b. Tiered Commission: Based on Quarterly Sales targets*

Responsibilities

  1. • Market Research: Analyzing market trends to identify new sales channels and target markets
  2. • Lead Generation: Generating sales leads and converting them into sales opportunities
  3. • Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners
  4. • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing long-term and tactical plans to achieve business goals
  5. • Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and sales deals with stakeholders and executives
  6. • Marketing: Develop and oversee marketing/advertising campaigns to promote products and services
  7. • Reporting: Tracking sales goals and reporting results to management.

Experience

  1. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  2. • 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development roles
  3. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  4. • Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills
  5. • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  6. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment

Skills Set

  1. Experience in B2B, SaaS, or a specific domain like logistics, fintech, or AI.
  2. Local/International market experience or multilingual ability.
